Roomrs is a co-living and hospitality platform making it easier for young professionals and students to find and apply for apartments in New York City through a fully virtual process. The concept was solid and the experience seamless. The problem was that none of that was coming through online. The brand's digital presence felt transactional where it needed to feel like a community. Potential renters were landing on the page with no real sense of what life inside a Roomrs home actually looked like. And the virtual application process, one of Roomrs' strongest selling points, was almost entirely invisible in their content.
We came in to fix that. Working in collaboration with AYA Digital, we built a social content approach rooted in visual storytelling: short-form video and carousels that showcased real residents, apartment design, and local New York culture through a human lens. Every piece of content served two purposes. Make the brand feel warm and liveable. And make the path to applying feel obvious.
